Settimia is a shared dream born out of an auspicious New Year’s Eve gathering at a 17th century historic family villa in the northern Italian province of Varese. Our aim is to foster a peaceful environment for creative magic to thrive- a place where visitors can come, according to their current rhythms, to recharge, draw inspiration, create, gather, or simply find a bit of solitude.

Our interdisciplinary residency program began in 2024 and hosts a diverse selection of artists from around the globe. All residencies are free-form and currently hosted at the Settimia Guesthouse within the larger villa.

The villa is located 40 minutes from Milan, Como and the Milan Malpensa Airport and is set upon 15 hectares of magical private family grounds; including walking trails, ever-blooming gardens, an outdoor theater, meditative spaces and a swimming pool during warmer months. The guesthouse has 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, two large living spaces, a dining space for twenty, a fully stocked kitchen, a private terrace and optional use of a small sunlit recording studio.
